Thirty with Thirty: First Outfits!

I'm linking up with Lauren and Kate for the Thirty with Thirty Challenge! I picked out 30 items to create different outfits with last week (check them out here). Here are my first three!

Outfit #1:
I chose this outfit to go to a meeting for... (gulp) grad school. Say whaaat?! That's right. Grad school. I wanted to look professional, but not overdone, and, of course, like a teacher.

I chose simple and classic pieces with a few pops of color (the light blue necklace + mustard wedges).

And let's just be real, wearing red lipstick makes me feel super fancy and sophisticated.

Outfit #2:
I picked this outfit to go run errands with my mom. It's a perfect "throw something on and go" outfit for summer that's effortless but still looks semi-put-together. I combined feminine elements (pink shorts + sparkly earrings) with more masculine pieces (chambray shirt + large faced watch).

Outfit #3:
I chose this outfit to hang out with the fam and go to our family reunion. It's pretty basic - a classic white tee with fun (non-Momish) jean shorts, so I decided to accessorize with pops of color: my raspberry colored necklace from Target and my bright yellow bag from The Jewel Box (which has hints of magenta that match the necklace!).

    1. Thank you! I'm trying to be more adventurous with color combos.

P.s. LOVE your last outfit on your 30/30. That scarf is fabulous!

  4. I should definitely be following this. I'm terrible with choosing outfits and have absolutely no accessory sense whatsoever. I suppose it's okay though, since I'm pretty much alright with the fact that every day's outfit is pretty much the same thing: nursing tanks and jeans. Found and following you from the GFC hop. Have a great day, Liz.
