Monday Musings: Totes Jeal.

This weekend, we went to our first wedding as an engaged couple! Miles was a groomsman for one of his friends from NC State. Not gonna lie, I was super envious that we weren't the ones walking down the aisle...

Congratulations, Jacob and Kylie!
Their wedding was wonderful! Their vows were hands down the longest I've ever heard and definitely the most scriptural. It was awesome! Plus, I met a friend of a friend who recognized me because of my blog (oh hey, Katie!). Pretty sure that's the first and only time that has/will ever happen.

The wedding was in Gastonia, NC. Apparently they have lots of tame chicken there...?

We rounded off the weekend by spending time with family at our lake house, which, per yoush, was super relaxing! We got up early Sunday morning to grab breakfast before church. At said breakfast, my brother ordered sweet tea. Aaaaand this happened:
There really are no words.

*sappy alert*

If I were to choose a highlight of the weekend, it would probably definitely be when Miles and I had to go back to RDU. After doing a little grocery shopping, we headed our separate ways. I called Miles to let him know I made it back safely to my apartment, we talked for about 10 minutes, hung up, nothing out of the ordinary. About 15 minutes later he called me unexpectedly just to tell me he loved me and that he was super excited to marry me. Can. you. say. precious.?

  1. Aww so precious :)
I laughed at the comment about "tame" chickens...as opposed to wild chickens? Which made me laugh harder. "Tame" is great word choice, it just made me laugh to think of tame and wild chickens! Haha I don't know it's Monday; thank you for the giggles, unintended as they might have been :)
